In the past week the state government has begun accepting claims for compensation payments for the victims of abuse at St Christopher's in Northam during the 60s and 70s.
I prepared my claim form and submitted it on Friday .... the process was very hard, confronting and disturbing. Having to write down the events .... to remember them ... means having to relive those events. It has been very hard. In the end I just finished it as quickly as I could and posted it off. The process has upset me greatly.
